The Pinky Schooner ARDELLE is ideal for seeing the historic shores of Gloucester’s outer harbor, the mansions along Eastern Point, its famed Dog Bar breakwater, Norman’s Woe and beyond the shores into Massachusetts Bay. Aboard her you can help the crew warp her in and out the old way (under sail) haul a historic lobster trap or just relax and enjoy the trip.

The Schooner Ardelle offers two-hour public sails all the way through October. We sail out of the Gloucester Maritime Center “Maritime Gloucester“at 23 Harbor Loop on Gloucester’s historic waterfront. Our tickets are available online or the Gloucester Maritime Center.  Tickets include a tour of the museum and live exhibits. Discounts available for all Maritime Gloucester members.

Here is what our customers say so far:

“We sailed with you guys and had a blast. My wife and I are from Crown Point, IN (Northwest Indiana). We sail on Lake Michigan. I will recommend you to everyone. Thanks for such a good time!”

Congratulations on the launch of the “Ardelle” – she’s a beauty! I’ve followed her construction on Good Morning Gloucester. Your dedication to the Essex shipbuilding traditions is becoming well known all up and down the coast.
