The Pinky Ardelle is available for educational tours and sails.

The Ardelle is designed using indigeonous techniques and is based on a historic fishing vessel. This makes it an excellent platform to inform students of their history and heritage, as well as for giving them a living and working example of a historic ship that puts historic content into practice and makes it relevent to them in exploring the ways traditional fisherman worked together on ships.

Furthermore, the fishing boats were specifically designed to be able to come to a specific spot on the ocean and come to a halt, becoming a platform for fishermen to work a single area. The ability of the ship to stop and stay put in a certain area makes it an excellent resource for conducting marine science, and students can experience a number of tests and exercises for identifying the health of the harbor while integrating marine science content with historic practices.
